Farmers' Markets Open!

Tomorrow marks another Farmers' Market Opening, this one is
where you can visit my booth every Wednesday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Have to work on Wednesdays?
You'll have another chance to visit my booth at
Riverfront Farmers' Market this Saturday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Find me at RFM First and Third Saturdays of the month.

I'll have some new items available like these, (in case you missed my Quilting Post blog)

Fun mug rugs with my glass beads atop tea spoons to compliment
the quilted rug.  These are perfect for enjoying tea/coffee and a snack.

Of course, I'll have plenty of glass beads in the form of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and cutlery items.

Over the weekend I managed to plant 25+ bearded iris.  These are babies of flowers that used to be in my mother's garden long ago.  My brother-in-law dug up them from his beds and divided them.

I can hardly wait til they bloom, and will look like this:

and this:
HAPPY SPRING!
I always enjoy reading your comments, whether here or on Facebook.

Shall We Gather at the River...

Today ~ Saturday, Dec. 17th ~ marks the final market at the Riverfront, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.  Come by my booth for something different!  These lovely hair sticks / shawl pins would be a unique stocking stuffer.

I have a trove of holiday gifts to choose from, like this lil skeleton key and turtle.  I made the bead directly on the key, but used a barrier so that it moves around...fun to fiddle with.

If you're unable to visit my booth in person, check out my
ETSY SHOP for last minute gifts, and I'll be happy to meet you locally, or ship it free.

The markets well reopen in April.

Thanks to all of my customers!

A Rosey Deal

Ok, so I'm a flower freak ~ they have dominated the last several blog posts...and my yard.

As you probably know, I have a booth at 2 of the local Farmers' Markets and they're in full swing now!

My vendor buddy, David, had some amazing miniature roses for sale last weekend at

I took advantage of his lovely offerings, and the price is unbeatable!

He'll have more at Poplar Grove Farmers' Market on Wednesday; the hours are 8 a.m. - 1p.m., but better get there early, these will go fast!

While you're picking up roses, stop by my booth to see what's new!

This one is "Amber Waves"
